This thing is useless. Not sure why Amazon continues to sell. It worked 3 times for me just fine. Then the screen went blank. I went to update it to the latest software, because one of the "selling" points on the product is "free software updates". Guess what, the company Autel tells me that it's not their (Autel America) product. It's the Chinese Autel. The product is discontinued and no updates have been issued for it since 2012.
It's certainly not the most expensive Scanner reader out their, but it did what I needed it to and this is no excuse for it to not work after three uses. In addition, this typical American company notion that they will let anybody use their name (Alibaba in china) to sell products, but refuse to back them up is really depressing.
