Reverie 9T is the latest advanced adjustable bed from Reverie segment. 8Q, which was the high-end model from Reverie, somehow lagged behind Prodigy 2.0 from Leggett & Platt on couple of features.

Design

Lumbar Support
Embedding lumbar support at lower back area is only seen in ergonomic office chairs. But Reverie has thought out of the box to include lumbar support in an adjustable bed. Moreover, just like head and foot tilts, there are dedicated buttons on remote control to adjust lumbar support to desired angle.
This is not just an innovative feature but also a must have feature if you are used to working from bed while sitting in an upright position for long hours.
Unlike other adjustable beds, the upper surface is split into two sections. The top/head section surface is separated from the mid/foot section. And at the intersection of these two, lumber support with adjustability has been embedded. This additionally removes wrinkle formation on bed’s upholstery.
Wall Hugger
This was one prime area where Reverie 8Q lagged behind Prodigy 2.0. But with this 9T version, Reverie has successfully closed that gap. It has designed the bed to offer perfect wall hugging that is on par with Prodigy 2.0.
Remote Control
Reverie 9T remote control has a complete makeover and is highly advanced when compared to Prodigy 2.0.
While Prodigy 2.0 comes with a touch capacitive remote, Reverie 9T has included backlit OLED display on its remote control.
The screen flashing numbers (degrees) for all adjustments is visually captivating and makes it pretty much easy for you to attain desired angles.
While there is built-in USB outlet for charging the remote control, the charging pad is the real game changer for Reverie 9T.

Adjustments
Pillow tilt not being included is one grey area of Reverie 9T. However, as mentioned above there are dedicated buttons for lumbar support adjustment.
And the biggest takeaway of Reverie 9T is its infinite adjustment. You can adjust the upper frame to an upright position just like in a regular chair. All other adjustable beds allow head adjustment up to around 70 degrees and foot adjustment up to 40 degrees. But there is no such limit for Reverie 9T.
Removable Side Rails
Yes, you read it right. The wooden side frame rails are removable. In case, you are not okay with the grey finish or if you fear that the rails might hurt your knees while getting in and out of the bed, you can simply remove them.
Massage
Reverie has upgraded its massage motors in 9T version. These are high definition motors offering great massage experience and enhanced lift capacity. It has as many as 4 wave massage modes.
Unlike Prodigy 2.0 which offers only 3 intensity levels, Reverie 9T just like in 8Q model, offers 10 intensity levels. You can now choose massage frequency to your precise desired comfort level.
Mattress Retention System
Just like in Prodigy 2.0, Reverie too has come up with ProGrip ™ technology that holds the mattress in its place. These are strips that run across the mid and foot level of the bed and stick to the mattress surface avoiding it from sliding downwards while performing adjustments.
However, mattress retainer bars are also included in the package as a backup.
Lift Capacity
As mentioned above, the motors installed in Reverie 9T are high definition ones and each have a lift capacity of 850 lbs. This is again on par with Leggett and Platt motors and perhaps the highest lift capacity offered by any adjustable bed in the market.
Mobile App
Reverie 9T has included a Bluetooth powered mobile app for Apple devices and there is no Android app as of now.

Alarm
Just like in 8Q, the Reverie 9T version also has “wake-up by lifting the head section” as an alarm feature. On reaching the set time, the head section slowly raises to a sitting position.
However, you should be owning an Apple/ iOS device to use this feature as it is only accessible from the Bluetooth powered mobile app and not from the remote control.
