Head and Feet tilting

In Williamsburg adjustable bed, head section can be raised up to 60 degress and the feet section up to 45 degrees.

Both these articulations are maximum and much higher than standard industry adjustment angles, especially in mid-range adjustable beds.

Pillow tilting

A quick note – there is absolutely no match to Leggett and Platt adjustable beds when it comes to pillow tilting design. They are the pioneers and still the best in the entire industry.

And yes, Leggett and Platt has included pillow tilting into Williamsburg model as well.

Pillow tilting offers 15 degrees adjustment which is again in addition to the 60 degrees head section adjustment.

Wallhugger design

If not for Leggett & Platt, offering wallhugging feature by other brands at the quoted price is difficult. 

And Williamsburg adjustable bed comes with wall hugging which is again a premium feature and needs impeccable design to attain perfection.

Leggett and Platt is again the only bed on the market that offers such incredible design.

These two features, pillow tilting and wallhugging, are clearly the two prime features enough to justify Williamburg as THE BEST choice over other brands in same price range that come without any of these two features.

Motor lift capacity

The motors installed in Williamsburg are the same like in Prodigy 2.0 models and offer maximum lift capacity of up to 750 lbs. Yet again, these motors are whisper-quiet while performing adjustments.

Remote Control - Williamsburg adjustable bed review

Perhaps, one of the simplest of remote controls from Leggett and Platt that comes with 18 buttons offering 13 different functions. The following image speaks for itself.

Preset & memory programmable positions 

There is again an innovative feature associated with the preset positions in Williamsburg adjustable bed.

• While it offers all 3 mandatory preset positions, Flat, Zero-gravity and Anti-snore but the biggest advantage is the adjustability.
• Yes, instead of offering memory programmable positions separately, the remote allows you to adjust zero-gravity and anti-snore functions to your desired angles.
• This way, you can fine tune these two positions to your favorite angles and save them for future use with just press of a button.
• All you need to do is adjust the zero-gravity and anti-snore functions to desired angles and press both set and function at a time.
• And release the two buttons after your hear a beep sound indicating that these functions are set to your favorite angles.

Williamsburg has included a dedicated SET button, as shown in the image, to specifically adjust and freeze these positions to your desired angles.

Massage Functionality

If we have to talk about perfect massage then there is again no match to the massage functionality offered by Leggett and Platt beds.

And the dual massage (head and feet seperately) in Williamsburg adjustable bed is, in fact a replica of industry famous Prodigy 2.0.

Massage mode 

Williamsburg comes with wave mode massage that is both singular as well as cyclic. You can conveniently chose between the two by a simple double press.

Massage intensity 

Massage for head and feet sections can be adjusted individually and you can chose between 3 different levels – High, medium and low.

Massage timer 

There are two massage timers, 15 minutes and 30 minutes. You can simply select the massage mode and set the timer and the massage motors will turn-off automatically upon completing the set time.

Other Important Features

USB ports

Williamsburg comes with total 4 USB ports, 2 on each side of the bed. In fact, 2 ports on each side are mandatory as there are at least two devices that need charging at any time.

Prodigy 2.0 models come with as many as 4 USB ports on each which is the maximum in the entire adjustable beds segment.

Under-the-bed lighting and Flashlight

Williamsburg adjustable bed comes with both under-the-bed lighting system as well as flashlight on its remote control.

Under-the-bed lighting system, which was introduced by Leggett and Platt in its Prodigy 2.0 has now become mandatory along with flashlight. These two features are included in most mid-range to high-end adjustable beds.

No. of legs and height adjustability

On the plus side, Leggett and Platt in this Williamsburge adjustable bed has offered 6 legs. While other models till date came with only 4 legs frame, these two additional legs in the middle do make the bed quite sturdy.

However, if there is one downside of Williamsburg bed then it the fixed height. Yes, the bed comes with single leg units standing at 7 inches from the ground. Anyways, 7 inches is the average height and should best fit almost all users alike.

If you still wish to avail height adjustability, the company offers additional leg units as well.

Mattress Retainer Bar

Leggett and Platt has not embedded its new Nanohook strip technology in Williamsburg adjustable bed model. Instead it is offering the much sturdy and traditional mattress retainer bar at the feet section.

Mobile App

Just like in Prodigy 2.0 models, Leggett and Platt is also offering mobile app for Williamsburg model as well. This app, a replica of remote control, is available for both Apple and Android devices.

While there are several adjustable beds on the market in mid-range segment only couple of them dominated the entire market with their performance and price.

But now the game is set to change in favor of Leggett and Platt in mid-range segment as well, with the launch of Williamsburg adjustable bed model.
